Asian Research Excellence Award (2025) – ERA Asian Research Excellence Awards

Recognized for outstanding contributions to research excellence, innovation, and impactful scholarly work across Asia, particularly in advancing sustainable and forward-looking research aligned with global development goals.

National Outstanding Educators Award (2025) 

Private Education Excellence Awards: Recognized for outstanding contributions to research excellence and impact in Malaysia’s higher education sector.

Leadership in AI Excellence (2025)

Contributed as Director of the Strategic Research Institute to strengthening APU’s research ecosystem and AI-driven initiatives, aiding in APU being named Malaysia’s Best University for AI Excellence.

MASA Policy Development Programme (MPDP) Award (2022)

Received a prestigious award certificate for policy development post-COVID-19 from Malaysia's former Prime Minister on February 7th, 2022. The MPDP Research Grant was selected out of 134 research proposals submitted by researchers and academicians from 21 local and private universities and institutions under the National Recovery Plan (NRP).

Mentor, Top 10 Global Finalist (2021)

Mentored a team of four UTAR students (Team Quadrifoglio) shortlisted in the Top 10 of the Global Final in the Alibaba GDT Global Challenge on December 7th, 2021. The team competed against over 2,000 teams from 12 countries, including China, France, the US, and the UK.

Gold Medalist for Top Doctorate Business Administration (DBA), Graduate School of Business (GSB), Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM), 2013.

  • Teaching Excellence Award (Oct 2018 Trimester): Score of 4.7 out of 5 in Online Student Survey for the International Business subject.

  • UTAR Teaching Excellence Award (2016): Awarded by the UTAR President, receiving a Trophy, Certificate, and Cash prize.

  • Teaching Excellence Award (Jan 2016 Trimester): Score of 4.62 out of 5 in Online Student Survey for the Entrepreneurship subject.
